Inside Out Transformation

Dr. Linda Humphreys is certified in multiple healing modalities and the face behind Inside Out Transformation. As your inner tour guide, inquisitive seeker, negative-energy excavator, and spiritual cheerleader, she assists and supports others in miraculously transforming their lives.

Dr. Linda Humphreys, interpreter and published author, came to us to branding her new coaching business; Inside Out Transformation. Armed with little more than a name, Linda was ready to get her business up and running as quickly as possible.

Linda placed her complete trust in our creative direction as we dove into her array of projects one at a time. We began work immediately and provided her with a company color scheme and fonts, logo design, business cards, new business website, two different book covers, social media quote cards, e-mail signature, newsletter templates via MailChimp, and a CMS marketing solution with automation for Linda.

Testimonial from Linda Humphreys of

“Woohoo! As good as it gets! In the past, doing anything website related has been challenging for me. When asked what I wanted within my website, I knew some basic things that I wanted to include, but not being tech savvy or well versed in current offerings, I was not sure of the options available—and what would be a good match for me and my business. Erik has been such a breeze to work with. He provided me with menu-like options, provided detailed descriptions, and made suggestions that are going to save me a lot of money in the long run. I have found Erik to be honest regarding what to start with now (and what to grow into at a later date), knowledgeable about new programs and plug-ins, a talented graphic designer, and someone who provides rapid work turn-around. Erik has experience and training in graphic design and website design. SCORE!!! (for me, anyway) He is very responsive whenever I have a question or need info about something. Erik gave me a “menu” to choose what type of services I wanted. When I was not sure about an item, I asked him to explain it to me. He is clear and patient with me when he explains tech. (That is HUGE for me cuz I am extremely tech-challenged—to say the very least.) Additionally, Erik is always extremely honest. Knowing that I was working with a set budget, he suggested what to set-up now and what I can “grow-into later” as my business and offerings grows. I feel lucky to have found Erik.”

Inside Out Transformation

November 14, 2018

We started the logo design project for Inside Out Transformation. Since Linda had no idea what she was looking for, our process began with a questionnaire to identify what Linda desired as in regards to her ideal audience, the mood or feel the logo should evoke, favorite colors. etc. Then, we put pencil to paper and went to work on ideas.

November 20, 2018

After creating several different icons and looks, we took our 3 strongest logo ideas and created them digitally. We also created a color palette and a selection of fonts for Linda to review along with the first round of logo ideas.

November 26, 2018

After receiving feedback on the first round of logos, we went to work refining the logo. After a couple of days, second round of logos was ready for Linda to review.

November 29, 2018

After some minor tweaks to the colors and fonts, the logo was ready for review. Upon seeing the latest version, Linda was delighted at the results and signed off on her logo project.

Even though Linda’s book cover was a priority, since Linda wanted a custom website for Inside Out Transformation, that was next on our list since the book had a launch date of Valentine’s Day and the website needed to be launched on the same date.

December 14, 2018

We did our research and identified the sections of a website that are most important for the her coaching and self-help industry. She previously had a small website with some content, so we looted the existing website and integrated that content. We collected much more content that we added to her new website.

January 11, 2019

Even though we were simultaneously working on Linda’s book covers, we also were adding the massive amount of content supplied to us regarding the new website. New sections, courses, testimonials, numerous blog posts, etc… but Linda was really getting excited to see her new website take shape.

February 7, 2019

After months of back and forth with Linda, adding sections, content, graphics, etc, we had exceeded her expectations and completed the website. Now, we just had to wait for the launch date for when her new book would be announced.

February 14, 2019

Today was the day for Amazon to launch her new book. So we coordinate the website launch to happen at the same time. We redirected her nameservers from her many domains to point to her new website and setup her new email boxes. Everything went as planned and Linda couldn’t be happier with the results of the way this project went and her new website!

January 6, 2019

Since we were waiting for information for the new website, we decided it was fitting to start working on the book cover for Linda’s new book, GETTING GOD® “The GOD Project”.

January 8, 2019

Since Linda had an idea of what she wanted for the cover, it was easy to format it to the size she wanted and come up with a matching spine and back cover. We sent Linda the first version of the cover for review.

January 10, 2019

After receiving feedback regarding the layout of items on the back cover, we began making the requested changes and submitted the cover for review. We also learned that we would be designing the cover to the guidebook that would go with her new book. The covers needed to be similar enough to know they went together, but different enough to suggest they were separate entities.

February 11, 2019

We submitted the changes for review about a month later because we were simultaneously building the website and business cards. Linda reviewed the cover and was pleased with the changes that were made. We supplied her with the proper files requested by Amazon Kindle and the book project was complete and ready for Linda’s Valentine’s Day launch.

February 12, 2019

With the new Inside Out Transformation website finished, we immediately went to work on Linda’s business cards. We gathered all of the information that needed to be present on the business cards from Linda. Once we know the amount of info needed, it helps us define the space available for info and for design elements.

February 18, 2019

After a successful website launch and all of the business card info collected from Linda, we submitted our initial design ideas for her to review. Out of the 3 choices we presented to her, she was skewed very much to one design and we began making the suggested edits.

February 24, 2019

With the changes made, we submitted the cards to Linda for review. She signed off on the project on the spot. To further make our client’s lives easier, we facilitated the printing order of the business cards for her. We presented a list of options such as card thickness, finishes, rounded corners, painted edges, etc. Linda chose what she wanted and we handled the rest. All that was left was for Linda to do was to sit back and wait for her cards to arrive.

March 6, 2019

Linda’s business cards were delivered right to her doorstep. Sometimes, things beyond our control happen and unfortunately, there were issues with the printing. We promised to make it right and had the cards sent back for reprinting. The printer quickly sent a new batch shipped out and Linda was extremely happy with the results. She was impressed that we took care of everything regarding the problem so she didn’t have to.

May 29, 2019

Linda wanted to start sending out monthly newsletters to her audience. She didn’t really know what to do, so we set her up on MailChimp since it’s very user-friendly and relatively inexpensive.

June 4, 2019

After speaking with Linda, we identified the sections of her newsletter that she wanted and what would be updated each month. We began the process by designing a custom-made template for her to be able to insert her content into the template each month on her own, saving her from having to pay us or anyone else to do it for her each month.

June 11, 2019

Next, we set up a welcome email for when users from her website signed up for the newsletter. Since Linda wanted this process to be as hands-off as possible, we set this up as an automation. Each user that signs up for the newsletter on her website will not only sign then up on MailChimp but also on her CMS of choice.

June 18, 2019

Linda’s newsletter and automations were set up and ready for her first sending. She was super happy with the results and after we spent an hour to train her on how to perform the updates on her own, she has been able to do so since then, saving her money each month!

May 13, 2019

Linda wanted to have an email signature that had graphic and text elements but wasn’t a graphic. She asked if that was something we could do and we took on the task of building a scalable, HTML-based email signature to use in MacMail.

May 15, 2019

After speaking with Linda to find out what elements she wanted in her email signature, we began researching what would be needed to make it work in MacMail.

May 17, 2019

We presented the initial designs to Linda and she was pleased with the results. A couple of tweaks in color and icon choices and the signature would be finalized.

May 18, 2019

After finishing the signature, we needed to show Linda how to add it to her MacMail. We jumped on our web-chat software and walked her through step-by-step on how to add it to each new message in MacMail.
